Our Colombo Hotel, Residence by Uga Escapes was featured in Lauren Romano’s lovely bonus feature in The Mayfair Magazine – ‘Colombo’. Residence was described as a ‘11-suite boutique hotel with an internal courtyard and pool’. The feature states that the ‘19th century townhouse was once frequented by British governors and Indian Maharajas, yet the cosmopolitan glamour remains’. Rare at Residence, the restaurant is also mentioned and is described as a popular candlelit restaurant where ‘traditional Sri Lankan ingredients are given a modern twist’.
